Stafford Springs, Connecticut. Known for it's mineral waters. In the earlier years it drew presidents, generals and politicians from all over the country, to bath in these healing waters known by the indians. Stafford Springs is known for the first resort in America.

A full country breakfast is served between, 9 am - 10am

Cinnamon French Toast, Blueberry Stuffed French Toast, Cranberry Almond Stuffed French Toast, Eggs Benedict, Bacon & Eggs, Vegetable Egg Bake, Finnish Pancakes

Baked Goods

Cranberry nut bread, Carrot Tea bread, Muffins of all sorts. These are just sample of what we serve to end off with hot mulled cider, gourmet cocoas, gourmet coffees, juice, milk, and teas.

Please let us know if you have allergies to certain foods or if you have a special dietary need upon making your reservation so that she can accommodate you.

 

Brimfield Show Breakfast Schedule

Due to the show hours we serve breakfast according to our guest needs.

We can pack breakfast or serve a warm full breakfast at 8 am.

 

Check-in and check-out times

Check-in time is between 4 pm - 6 pm, and check-out time is 11 am

During the Brimfield Show dates, check-in time is 5 pm - 10 pm, and check-out is at 11 am

When possible, arrangements for early check-in or late check-out can be made

 

Our recipes

Blueberry Cottage Cheese Pancakes

Makes 18 pancakes (4")

1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup sour cream
1 cup cottage cheese
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups blueberries
Butter for griddle or Pam spray

Whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt in medium bowl. Stir together sour cream, cottage cheese, eggs, and vanilla in large bowl. Add flour mixture, stir until just combined. Gently stir in blueberries.

Heat oven to 200. Heat a griddle over medium heat. Butter griddle lightly. Spoon level 1/4 cup batter onto griddle for each pancake. Cook until lightly brown and bubbles begin to form 3-4 minutes. Turn and cook other side. Keep in warm oven on baking sheet until ready to serve. Garnish with berries and citrus wedges. Use only Bradway Sugar House Syrup for best quality taste.

Cinnamon Pumpkin Pancakes

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1 3/4 cups milk
1/2 c. pumpkin puree, fresh or canned
1 large egg
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups maple syrup warmed

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, & spices.
In a small bowl combine milk, pumpkin, egg, and oil.

Breakfast Soup

12 oz. bag frozen strawberries
2 cups whipping cream
1 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup sour cream

Place strawberries in blender first and let sit for about 10 minutes to unthaw a bit. Then add to blender, whipping cream, heavy cream, sugar, and sour cream. Blend on chop (1-minute) then blend on liquify until thick and smooth. Place in the refrigerator overnight. Serve with a mint leave on top or a slice of strawberry on the side top glass dish. Enjoy!

Smoothy Work Out Shake!

1 small Banana; 1/2 orange juice; 1 cup plain yogurt; 1/2 cup frozen blueberries.

Blend on high in blender until thick and smooth. Serve one to two servings. Enjoy on your way to the gym for a total workout.
