Here are a few reviews from our guests
I have always been hesitant to stay at a Bed and Breakfast because I thought it would be awkward but Danelle made us all feel comfortable. In total there were 11 of us that stayed at the Inn Keeper's for our daughter's wedding being held nearby. Danelle made us feel at home and even allowed us to cook pasta in her kitchen for the rehearsal dinner. She even shared her children's toys with the grandchildren! Her children were delightful and let the grandchildren in their rooms to play. The pictures online do not do the Inn Keeper's Place justice. The rooms are larger than they look in the pictures. I was worried the grandchildren would break precious antiques but there was nothing to worry about. Danelle is very relaxed and there was not anything really in reach for them to break. The breakfasts were awesome; home cooked and always with fresh fruit, plenty of coffee and juice. She even accommodated for some of us who were lactose intolerant. The rooms had wireless internet, cable and ac. She also had movies on dvd available for the children! Needless to say, the stay at the Inn Keepers was better than a hotel and much more than I expected. I would not hesitate to stay there again, however, she has set the bar high for other Bed & Breakfasts!

We travelled to Stafford for a family wedding and this was our first trip to a b&b for my entire family. The inn is beautiful and the rooms are larger than the pictures show on line. We had family members arriving at different times (both early in the day and very late into the night) from different states, all of us traveling at the minimum four to five hours one way. All total we had 8 adults and three children ages 1, 3 & 5. My husband and I were the first to arrive. When I called to let Danele know we were in Connecticut and that we were decorating the hall for the wedding before checking in, she told me that if we found we needed anything, to contact her before we bought it as they had previously held weddings and events at the Inn. When my brother (father of the bride) & his family arrived later that afternoon, he had to finish his famous pasta salad (request of the bride) to take to the rehearsal dinner barbecue that was being held for 40 people that night at another location. Danele opened her kitchen so that he could do this. Danele fixed us a wonderful big breakfast both Saturday and Sunday and made sure we had a steady stream of coffee, or anything else that we needed. She asked if the children in our group would like to play with her children and that her daughter would even like to babysit if we wanted. Danele kept reminding us that if there was anything that we needed to just ask. I am sure Danele and her family did not get much sleep that weekend as we were coming and going at all hours day and night. My family had basically taken over the entire inn except for one room that Danele could have rented out for the weekend but did not because she didn’t want to ruin my family’s special time together. At the end of our stay, all of us felt like Danele had become part of our family. Danele treated us like royalty and I can’t thank her enough for everything she did for us.

Our family recently stayed in the suite at this Inn. We were back for a memorial service, and it was a sad time for us. Danele made us feel right at home. We were very comfortable and her breakfasts were wonderful. She was sensitive to our needs, and provided private breakfast on the days we did not want to come up to the main dining room. It’s a lovely old home. Her whole family is warm and welcoming, even the cat.

This has been an awesome experience. You have set the standard for our future B&B visits. This was our first but won't be our last. We've enjoyed the morning conversations, the wonderful food and most of all the most comfortable beds. We will take your advise and revisit but this time to see the Winter wonderland. Blessings to you and your family.

For once, I think my mom was truly relaxed! Thank you for helping us get to know UCONN for the very first time. Also for letting us into your home, taking away from your time to give us a tour and history lesson on the beautiful home. I will always remember where buttons came from and how they where made. It's amazing you have a full driveway full of buttons from the 1700's. You are truly amazing at what you do and we will be back very soon.
